What if I’m treating a feral colony?

Homeopathy can be used very effectively with feral cats or stray dogs, even when you can’t handle them individually.

Here’s how to treat a colony effectively:

  • Choose the right remedy based on the symptoms you're seeing in the group — respiratory issues, mange, stress, etc.
  • Dissolve the pellets in a small amount of clean water (a few tablespoons is enough).
  • Pour the treated water over the colony’s wet food or mix it into broths, tuna juice, or anything palatable to ensure it’s eaten.
  • Feed the remedy-treated food once or twice a day — consistency matters more than precision.
  • If some cats eat and others don’t, that’s okay. Over time, as you continue feeding daily, most of the colony will get exposure.
  • For specific animals, offer a separate dish if possible — but again, not required.

We support TNR groups, shelters, and colony caregivers regularly. If you're unsure which remedy to use or how to rotate treatments through a large group, just reach out. We're happy to walk you through it.
